We got to host our very first c3nc young adult dinner party last week. The vision is to have all of the YA of c3nc meeting together across the city, eating and being in community.
MC was working crazy hours most of last week, he’s so amazing – he works SO hard and does it with the best attitude. In the meantime, I got busy chasing light with my brother and again on Sunday with some more amazing people. It’s pretty much become a tradition to climb the anzac bridge and shoot as much as we can. Sure, it’s never great having millions of sunset photos on your memory card, but it’s such a nice thing to just do. On Sunday we went with friends, Gab, Ben, Adrian and Claire, it’s so beautiful to just go and be creative with good friends. Simple and wonderful.
Chris and I went to the bridge on the Friday afternoon together, he wasn’t working from his office so he had no trouble getting up there by 5.15 (sunset) but I had to actually chase the light to get there in time! There’s only a very short window where it’s even worth shooting in. I felt like the bird in tiny wings! It was sooooo windy and the bridge is up SO high and right on the shore, so it’s extra windy up there. We were being blown in all directions – quite funny really!
Lots of love
